The Practical Language Framework

The Practical Language Framework was created to provide a systematic means of understanding, classifying and tracking the language learning journey. The framework encompasses the various elements of communicative language competency and aims to provide a model for the development of language learning assessments and resources for educators and organizations. Furthermore, it serves as a guide to focus our research efforts in measuring communicative language competencies through human language technologies.
